DANIEL BUREN & MILES GREENBERG
Daniel Buren & Miles Greenberg is the eighth art book published by Reiffers Initiatives, documenting the 2025 edition of the mentorship program. This volume showcases the unprecedented collaboration between a leading figure in French contemporary art, Daniel Buren, and the 28-year-old Canadian performer and artist Miles Greenberg.
“Alongside him, the highly talented Canadian performer and artist Miles Greenberg embodies the new generation of artists. Their joint exhibition illustrates this bridge between generations and brings the spirit of mentorship to life.” — Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers, Founder of Reiffers Initiatives
This fifth edition of the mentorship program marks an unprecedented juxtaposition between a major figure in French contemporary art, Daniel Buren, and the 28-year-old Canadian performer and artist, Miles Greenberg.
On this occasion, Daniel Buren, mentor of the 2025 edition, designed a permanent site-specific work entitled “La Façade aux acacias”, which fully covers the building housing the Reiffers Initiatives endowment fund, located at 30 rue des Acacias, Paris 17. The artist also unveiled a second site-specific work entitled “Nouvelles images du Ciel” on the glass roof of the space.
Miles Greenberg presented new monumental cast aluminum sculptures as well as a new performance by singer Yseult in his exhibition co-presented by L’Alliance New-York “Gods of Solaris”.
