Biography
Born and raised in Africa, her multicultural background and international experience shape a vision of art and culture rooted in access, transmission, and long-term impact.
Her engagement with contemporary art began as a collector and later evolved through her career as a gallerist, giving her first-hand insight into the art ecosystem from multiple perspectives. Building on this experience, she founded Docent, an AI-powered art and cultural intelligence platform that leverages technology to bridge artists and audiences through a human-centered approach.
Alongside her entrepreneurial work, Helene Nguyen-Ban serves as Chair of the Board of Fluxus Art Projects, supporting artistic creation across France and the UK. She is also a member of the International Council of Tate and actively supports several other institutions. She regularly serves on international juries, notably those of the Fluxus–Frieze and Art Basel prizes.
